Why is gut health so important?
Imbalances begin in the gut and can spread to other areas of the body. If you are dealing with brain fog, fatigue, chronic headaches, skin conditions, depression or anxiety and joint pain, you’ll want to first uncover what’s going on in your gut.
To start you’ll want to;
- Add in some nutritious foods that have anti-inflammatory properties such as kale, winter squashes, spinach and mushrooms
- Reduce or eliminate foods which are common irritants or reactionary foods such as soy, gluten and dairy
Let me give you a reactive food example. I don’t have any true food allergies but I would feel nauseous a few hours after eating eggs. This took time to figure this out because it occurred a few hours after consumption and I ate eggs occasionally. When I felt nauseous, I assumed these were “off” days for my stomach. The issue is, every time I ate this reactionary (for me) food, it caused an inflammatory response in my body. Inflammation leads to weight loss resistance, amongst other imbalances.
There is a healing period for your gut, it took years to be damaged so depending on the state of your current health will depend on how quickly you heal. The good news is, you may not need to say good-bye to bread with gluten forever.
3 simple gut health items to reduce inflammation and break through weight loss resistance

2. Organic herbs or CPTG essential oils. Oregano, melaleuca (tea tree) and clove all have anti- bacterial, anti- fungal and anti-viral properties. In addition, also have anti-parasitic and anti-inflammatory properties3. Coconut. It’s a superfood and continues to be recognized for more healing benefits all the time. It has anti- bacterial and anti- fungal properties and can be a staple at any meal.
